All ages are welcome.

I began my own chess education at the age of 9 and was participating in international tournaments at 13. I have been teaching chess formally since 1979 and provides lessons in both classroom and individual settings. My students' games have been published in such prestigious places as Chess Life, the Ohio Chess Association Bulletin, and the international Chess Informant.

In addition to teaching, my efforts are devoted to promoting chess in the local community. I have worked with local schools and public libraries to engage more children and adults in this mind-transforming, fun activity.
