The Pima Native American tribe live near Phoenix, Arizona.  They were generally farmers since their land, between the Gila and Salt Rivers, was arable, but they also hunted.

Culturally, the Pima are a peaceful and generous people. Throughout their known history, they have tried to maintain friendly relations with other tribes as well as European immigrants.

This doll's clothing was handmade by tribal members, and it still has the original tag.  It appears to have been made in the early 20th century.
