Inspired by the original relief sculptures at the ancient Persian capital, Persepolis, this replica features Shah Darius I, the city's founder.
He constructed it as a tribute to Ahura Mazda, the Zoroastrian deity. The faravahar, representing the faith, above his head guards him.
The sculpture contains hieroglyphics as shown at the original Persian capital.
