The rhyton (ritoun) was a drinking horn.  It was widely imitated in other ancient cultures, especially in Greece. This design was also used for drinking vessels during the Achaemenian Period (500 BC).  Hieroglyphics are carved into the base.

It is suitable for use as a candle-holder as well as for display as a work of art.

Dimensions: 6" (15 cm) tall with a 4" x 2.5" (10 x 5 cm) at base.
