This is a ritoun, or drinking vessel, that was originally made for Persian kings ca. 500 BC.  This one features a goat's head, though ritouns featuring other animals such as lions and bulls were common in this period as well.

This figure measures 3.25" x 3.5" x 6" (8.2 x 9 x 15 cm).
